We are currently looking for caring, kind, dependable and personable individuals who desire to provide non-medical, in-home care to the elderly. Inspire 2 Care provides services to the following county's, Charlotte, Desoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee, Sarasota. Please specify which county you reside in & the locations you are willing to commute to on your resume or separate email.

Homemakers & Companions will NOT perform any of the following:

Personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and shaving
Any heavy lifting or transferring of clients.
Administering of any medications, ointments, eye drops, etc.
Heavy duty household chores such as washing walls, waxing floors, washing windows, etc.
Household repairs or maintenance
Cut the fingernails or toenails of any client

Tasks typically include:

Providing companionship and cheerful, positive assistance at all times
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes and vacuuming
Planning, preparing and serving meals
Assistance with transfers, walking and physical activity
Assistance with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping

Qualifications

You will need a current Level II Background check & Live Scan
High school graduate, G.E.D certificate or Equivalent experience.
Completion of Competency Evaluation.
1 year's experience working in a medical, psychiatric nursing or childcare setting or working with recipients w/ DD
College, voc or tech training + 30 semester hrs., 45 qtr. hrs., or 720 classroom hrs. may substitute for experience.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
